About Brown Evans

Brown Evans was established in 1941 at the current site of our Mesa Headquarters. The Company transitioned from a Chevron commissioned sales agent to wholesale distributor (jobber) in the late 70's. Wayne and Kathye Brown purchased the Company during the early 80's and they have continued the Company's long history of providing quality petroleum products and extraordinary customer service.

Today is no different as we continue to grow our fuels and lubricant business and explore new ways to improve service to our customers. We service all types of commercial customers such as fleets, rail transportation, ground support, construction companies, manufacturing plants, auto dealers, quick lube centers, tire & repair service centers, agricultural, state and local government agencies, and power generation plants. We are also very active in the Arizona mining industry. We offer all types and grades of diesel fuel and gasoline and carry a full line of Chevron, Texaco and MaxPro lubricants. We also provide fleet fueling through our 10 owned and operated Pacific Pride Cardlock locations as well as bob-tail and transport delivery into on site customer tanks and equipment. We also carry bio-diesel and E-85 bio fuels.

Brown Evans is also committed to safety and proof of this is our strong safety record over the years. We have a very active Safety program in place that covers every aspect of our business. The program covers all work positions and locations and is monitored and overseen by our company safety committee. The majority of our Drivers are also MSHA Mine trained & certified.

We are a company with very high business standards and our integrity is one of our company's greatest assets. We also enjoy tremendous loyalty from our many long term employees as well as the customers they serve. Brown Evans is very active in the communities where we operate and have a long history of philanthropic activities in the region. Our CEO, Wayne Brown also served as Mayor of Mesa, Arizona from 1996 to 2000 as his father did years before him. Our President, Kathye Brown is a past President of the Arizona Petroleum Marketers Association (APMA) and serves on the board of the Mesa Arts Center. We also take great pride in the many trade association and charitable organizations that our employees are involved with and the volunteer activities that benefit so many in our community.
